Alessandro Gerada is a final year doctoral student on the AI for Future Digital Health doctoral network, working in the Antimicrobial Pharmacodynamics and Therapeutics group. He is also a consultant microbiologist at NHS University Hospitals of Liverpool Group, where he leads the Brucella Reference Unit. His research work is on artificial intelligence, machine learning, and simulation approaches for challenges in infectious diseases and microbiology, with a focus on antimicrobial resistance.
